HOMEMADE CASHEW BUTTER RECIPE
- Blend 1 cup of raw organic cashews until it becomes mealy
- Scrape down the sides and continue blending until you’ve achieved a dough-like consistency (when pressed, it should smear like peanut butter)
- Remove the cashew butter from the blender and store it in a lidded jar in the refrigerator (when refrigerated, it can last up to a week)
- For a sweeter butter, add 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup or raw honey
- A pinch of sea salt brings out the natural cashew flavor
