Experts say when detoxing, fasting or juicing, it’s important to take in more veggies than fruits, to avoid spikes in blood sugar. This made us get creative with vegetables and we learned so much. For instance, we didn’t know you could juice a potato! Before juicing, we enjoyed V8 Juice, until realizing it was full of preservatives, flavors and synthetic vitamins. So we took it into our own hands to make a healthier version for ourselves. Try our “V5” Juice recipe below:

The Lills Food Tomato Beet Celery Spinach Carrot V5 Juice

V5 Juice Recipe:
  • Juice each ingredient
  • Combine all the juice, add a squeeze of lime and enjoy!
  • Feel free to add a dash of sea salt, pepper or cayenne for a kick!

V5 Juice Ingredients:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 golden beet
