VW BUS INTERIOR MAKEOVER

by | 2017 | The Lills, VW Bus

One of the larger and more exciting changes to Moksha was to his interior. We ripped out every piece of furniture, panel and layer until he was completely bare-bones. We cleaned him out and we put in dampening material to reduce noise and increase insulation.

The Meridian Company, in Beaufort, SC, built incredible custom cabinets, installed floors and took our VW bus to a whole new level. We had the valves checked, we gave him an oil change, we changed out his fan belt, we replaced his muffler, we installed new spark plugs and seals, valve cover gaskets and other minor pieces. Lastly, we created a privacy curtain between the cab and the back of the bus so our pup, Sunday, can enjoy her solar-powered air and stay cool on hot days.

With a ton of work, money, patience and determination, our 1978 VW camper bus began to look and feel like home, right in time for our next adventure. Enjoy our VW Bus interior makeover video below!
