SMOOTHIE + JUICE DETOX RECIPES

New Year’s 2017 marked the beginning of our journey to a healthier lifestyle. To kick-start our health-kick, we enjoyed a 7 day Detox. Detoxes are a great way to give the body a break and push out toxins by juicing and avoiding solid foods for an extended period of time (1-30 days). Include smoothies, blended soups or even raw veggies for some added fiber.

We started by cleaning out our kitchen and filling it up with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits and hearty greens. Each day we enjoyed different mixes and concoctions, exercised moderately and by day 3, we were feeling recharged. One of our favorite combinations of fruits we made into both a smoothie and a juice. Enjoy the recipes below!

The Lills Smoothie Juice Detox Recipes

Smoothie Recipe:
  • Put a 1/2 cup of Ice in a blender
  • Add 1 Gala Apple (No Peel)
  • Add 1/4 a Cantaloupe (No Rind)
  • Add a bunch of Grapes (No Peels)
  • Add 1 Orange (No Peel)
  • Add a splash of water and some ice, turn on high until mixed and enjoy!

Juice Recipe:

  • Get your juicer out
  • Juice 1 Gala Apple
  • Juice 1/4 a Canteloupe (No Rind)
  • Juice 1 bunch of Grapes
  • Juice 1 Orange (No Peel)
  • Combine all the juice and enjoy!
