HOMEMADE VEGAN POWER BITES

When in need of a boost, the two of us grab one of our homemade power bites. Our bites are made of simple, super-healthy ingredients like, ground flaxseed, almond flour, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, cashews and they are sweetened only with organic maple syrup. They taste delicious and they are power-packed with great sources of energy! See our Homemade Vegan Power Bites recipe below!

Vegan Homemade Power Bites Recipe | The Lills Food

Homemade Vegan Power Bites Recipe:
  • Mix the ground flaxseed, almond flour, sea salt, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, coconut flakes and cashews together
  • Add the maple syrup 1 tablespoon at a time and mix until you have a sticky mixture
  • Press a large tablespoon of the mixture into the bottom of the muffin parchment cups, about 1/2 inch tall
  • Bake at 400F for 10 minutes or until the tops begin to brown
  • Let the cups cool on a wire rack
  • Remove the power bites from the parchment cups and store in a lidded jar

Homemade Vegan Power Bites Ingredients & Equipment:

  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons raw unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons crushed walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon crushed cashews
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine ground sea salt
  • 9 muffin/baking/parchment paper cups
  • Muffin tins
