Cashew butter is such an amazing product, but it can be expensive and full of hidden additives. Transforming cashews (1 simple ingredient) into a delicious, healthy cashew butter is so easy to do! The bonuses are, there are no additives, it’s loaded with raw nutrients and it is way cheaper to purchase nuts and seeds in bulk compared to spending money on processed butters. Enjoy our homemade cashew butter recipe below!

Homemade Cashew Butter Recipe:
  • Blend 1 cup of raw organic cashews until it becomes mealy
  • Scrape down the sides and continue blending until you’ve achieved a dough-like consistency (when pressed, it should smear like peanut butter)
  • Remove the cashew butter from the blender and store it in a lidded jar in the refrigerator (when refrigerated, it can last up to a week)
  • For a sweeter butter, add 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup or raw honey
  • A pinch of sea salt brings out the natural cashew flavor

Ingredients & Equipment:

  • 1 cup raw organic cashews
  • Blender
