We never used to eat okra, until we moved South. Since then, we’ve come to enjoy it. Okra is full of fiber, antioxidants, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. It helps prevent diabetes, promotes healthy skin, supports healthy digestion and preserves vision. It’s a great veggie for soups and the pods can be used as a thickening agent when cooking.
